Covid-19 FAQ

Presidio Bowl is doing everything possible to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. We’ve implemented stringent cleaning protocols and frequency of cleanings minimize the chance of Covid-19 exposure.  We have changed many policies to help safely distance you and your guests and from other groups in the bowling center.  Below is a list of our new rules.  Please read them and email us if you have any questions.  Items on this list may change at anytime.

Masks are required at all times except when actively eating or drinking at your lane or at a table. We don’t want to be the mask police, so please do your part.  If you leave your bowling area, you must wear your mask, with no exceptions.  

Reservations are not required, but highly recommended.  We will be operating at 25% capacity, which is about 45 guests.  With social distancing requirements, we will not be able to use every lane. You may not be able to wait for your lane inside the bowling center.  A reservation will help minimize the chance of having to wait outside.  The number of lanes we are able to use will depend on the size of each party, but will generally fall between 6-10 lanes available at any given time.  Reservations may be made by clicking on the Reservations tab at the top of the webpage.  All reservations include shoe and ball rental.  There is a strict maximum of 5 guests allowed to enter the building per lane rented. 

Once you arrive, we will assign your lane and give you shoes.  All house balls have been relocated to one area.  You will be required to sanitize your hands before selecting a ball.  We also have gloves available if you like.  We also have a marking system in case you and another guest are using the same colored ball.  All house balls and shoes are sanitized after every use.

We have a new contactless ordering system for your convenience.  You will be able to order food and beverages directly from your smartphone or a kiosk.  We will bring all orders directly to your lane.  You are still welcome to order at our bar and grill if you like, but remember to wear your mask.

When you have completed your bowling session, please leave all bowling balls and shoes in the bowling area.  We will remove them for cleaning and sanitize the bowling area for the next group of guests.

We have installed a curtain system between lanes that helps to increase safety when social distancing may become difficult.  These curtains allow you to have an enclosed bowling area.  The curtains do not extend onto the bowling lanes, so please remember to wait until there are no bowlers on the lane to your right and left before grabbing your ball and throwing a shot.

We have hand sanitizer stations around the bowling center for your use.  Feel free to use them as often as you like!

We have installed HEPA equivalent air filters in our ventilation system.  We will also keep the doors open as much as possible to circulate fresh air.

As more of us get vaccinated, you may feel the urge to disregard safety protocols.  Please remember that other groups may not be as lucky to have gotten their shot.  Please remember, we are all in this together, and the more we follow the safety measures, the quicker we can get back to the party.
